Cancellations, Cookies&Cream, and Colin Firth

So it sucks when plans get cancelled. Especially when the cancelling of those plans means a loss of money for me.

But I don't want to dwell on that. What I do want to share with the world right now, is my new love for Cookies & Cream Hershey's Kisses. My mom had them, so I tried one. And they're GOOD. like little mini bites of those Hershey's cookies&cream bars. melts in your mouth, but in moderation!

The biggest deal of my day is that I watched Bridget Jones' Diary for the first time today. I love Colin Firth. and I quite appreciated the movie, but I almost killed myself when Mark Darcy (Colin Firth's character) walked away at almost the end of the movie, right when him and Bridget were gonna hook up, because he read a page of the diary that it was open to, and it was talking about how much she hated him (because it was from earlier in the movie when she was being blind to him liking her and actually being a nice guy) anyways, I was like, are you serious, is it really going to end like this? THEY ALMOST MADE IT. but no, he was being super cute and going to get her a new diary so she could start a new beginning with him.

Bridget: I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it. Well, I meant it, but I was so stupid that I didn't mean what I meant... After all, it's only a diary. Everyone knows diaries are just... full of crap.
Mark Darcy: Yes, I know that. I was just buying you a new one.

Awe.
Romantic-Comedies are super good. I don't care if you're going to bash them for not being legitimate quality cinema, you know they're good. Everyone loves to watch them. Everyone wants to live them. They make me want to fall in love. right now.

I hope I'm not a 30-something year old spinster when I grow up.

Beach+Clouds

Equals a sweatshop-esque tie-dye session.

I went to the beach this morning, knowing that it might not be the best day, but I had high-apple-pie-in-the-sky hopes.
They were shattered. but not negatively.
Danielle and I transformed our beach day gone sour into an epic day full of dye, dogs, and doughnuts.

The day isn't over yet, either. Hopefully I'm heading out to get a $2 Skinny Dip creation. Any size I want for only 2 DOLLARS! killuh.

song for this day: don't ask me why-billy joel. "All your choices made you change your mind,
Now your calendar's complete"
danielle-the danielle-the billy joel song choice is for you;) because you're always a woman to me.

the DELICIOUS frozen yogurt me and mary beth got. for two dollars! (mine's the one on the right)

my dog! in a blog! mobile blogging avec pictures. testinggg

Hey, this could be fun

Coming to you live from the 757!
"no first of spring, no song to sing, in fact here's just another ordinary day"
(nab that stevie wonder reference!)

Yeah, I have no special reason for starting this blog. It's an early Saturday afternoon like any other here in Virginia Beach, but I'm feeling inspired. I saw Kelly Key's blog for her trip to England and I was like, hey, I want to do that. Not go to England, but start a blog.

Here's my life the past couple days, and even past that, how 'bout since summer has started:
  1. I no longer have wisdom teeth, but I just have holes where they're healing, so I got this cool syringe to squirt water into the holes to get all the food and junk that gets stuck in them. AWESOME!
  2. I am officially a Mary Kay lady, and actually have a facial to get to today in a few hours. If you ever need make up or skin care slash know people who do, you can visit my website at marykay.com/acandler1! or contact me in any way.
  3. I also decided I am gonna go back to work for Coldstone, but the cool deal is that I won't be at the store, I will be posted at kiosks at the oceanfront, so all I have to do is sit there and give out already-scooped ice cream while I read slash soak up the sun on not busy days, but make bank in tips! and get paid the same as at the store. cooool.
  4. I took a legit bike ride with Liana yesterday to the oceanfront. first legit bike ride in.....5 months? needless to say, my butt is a little sore.
  5. I've been hittin' up the beach as much as possible, and it's great. I hope it doesn't end due to all of my employment ventures.
listening to stevie wonder still. song for the day: higher ground.
